The word أشرق has appeared in non-primary (secondary) sources.
In the primary sources I have referred, I only came across the version beginning with the word طلع. Regarding the famous poem, طلع البدر علينا, I have come across it beginning with different wordings such as طلع، طالع، أشرق etc. Sahih al-Bukhari 4124 'Tala al Badru Alayna' a Naat (poetry) or (song) sung for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) during his completion of migration to Medina in 622.
